At WBCS, we host regular meetups where tradeswomen can gather in a safe environment. Through workshops, we gather firsthand accounts of the challenges they face on site. To support those who previously felt they had nowhere to turn, we organize learning opportunities such as social insurance seminars and vision-mapping workshops. To tackle physical infrastructure issues like on-site toilets and changing rooms, we collaborate with general contractors, university professors, architecture students, and tool manufacturers. We also bring these front-line voices to national policymakers, including taking part in a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism hearing in fiscal 2025.
